BERNARD CONTROLS is « mobile-friendly »!
On April 21st 2015, Google officially launched the "mobile-friendly" label1and updated its algorithm to favor mobile websites in search results.
The desktop version of a site might be difficult to view and use on a mobile device. The version which is not "mobile-friendly" requires the user to pinch or zoom in order to read the content. Users can feel disappointed and leave the website.
As the Google' study "Mobile Search Moments"2 proves, "In the USA, 94% of people with smartphones search for local information on their phones. Interestingly, 77% of mobile searches occur at home or at work, places where desktop computers are likely to be present" and the trend is the same worldwide. Therefore, the "mobile-friendliness" of a website gets increasingly important for any company communicating on the web.
Two years ago, BERNARD CONTROLS decided to endorse these new web habits and turned its website www.bernardcontrols.com to responsive web design, then offering to visitors an optimized interface for all devices: desktop, smartphone and tablet.
Built in a flexible way, it adapts itself to the screen size of the device you have with you at the time for. The "touch function" is available and the size of documents and media resources (texts, pictures, movies, slideshow...) is optimized for each device.
BC GPS Actuator, the web application launched by the electric actuator specialist last year, is also designed in the same "mobile-friendly" spirit. Visit our website and our app to enjoy the experience!
